The Rader K9 Push Pillow, designed by professional trainer Ben Rader, is a purpose-built bite development tool engineered to promote proper bite mechanics and progressive skill-building in working dogs. As dogs advance through bite training, the diameter of bite targets gradually increases, and they rarely return to thinner objects. While this progression is critical, it can leave certain jaw muscles underdeveloped, especially those engaged during deep molar bites. The Push Pillow solves this by offering a narrow, resistant leather side that encourages dogs to push the pillow deep into their mouths and engage their rear molars. Achieving a firm molar bite not only activates key jaw muscles, it also helps calm and focus the dog, channeling drive into controlled intensity.

  • Level One: Features a soft leather exterior and a less dense bite-zone core, perfect for early-stage development. The Blast Hose side lacks a dowel rod, making it easier to compress and more forgiving for young or green dogs.
  • Level Two: Incorporates a hardened leather exterior and an ultra-dense bite core for advanced resistance. The Blast Hose side includes a reinforced dowel rod, making it significantly harder to compress, ideal for building jaw strength, grip endurance, and bite commitment.
