Safety and equipment restrictions
For the safety of all participants, the following restrictions apply during HITS events:
- No live ammunition is permitted anywhere within the event space.
- Firearms or projectile-capable equipment must be rendered non-functional before entering the venue.
- Ammunition, munitions, chemical agents, and pyrotechnic devices must be inert or training replicas only.
- HITS staff may monitor and enforce these safety guidelines throughout the event.
Event conduct
HITS events are professional education environments for law-enforcement K9 programs.
Participants agree to:
- Follow event staff instructions and venue policies.
- Participate in demonstrations and training activities responsibly.
- Respect the professional environment and other attendees.
HITS reserves the right to remove participants whose conduct disrupts the event or violates event guidelines.
Liability
HITS Training and Consulting and its representatives are not responsible for loss, theft, injury, or damage to personal property during the event.
Attendees assume responsibility for their personal belongings and participation in event activities.
Event changes or cancellation
If circumstances beyond the control of HITS Training and Consulting prevent the event from taking place, including emergencies or government restrictions, HITS may modify or cancel the event.
In such cases, refunds or adjustments may be issued at the discretion of the event organizers.
